We were told by a different hearing aid business in a different town that my husband's hearing aids needed to be replaced or sent to the manufacturer to be repaired and that they may not be repairable because of their age (they also supposedly did a diagnosis). The cost for a new pair would be between $5-$6k. We called Audibel in Greenville, Michigan to ask if they could do a cleaning and change the filter(s), hoping that would help. Donica set up an appointment for the next day. Peggy Frank did a diagnosis on the aids, found the issue, replaced the receiver, as well as a few other parts, and wonder of wonders, he can hear again! We are so thankful! So, if you want honesty...someone who will do right by you and not just someone who wants to sell a new hearing aid, call Peggy at Audibel in Greenville, Michigan. Honest, trustworthy and she and the staff will make you feel very welcome.
